Seven-day loan. Return within one week; no exceptions under the program policy. Hotspots are first-come, first-served, and the signed agreement makes borrowers financially responsible for the device.

The required five-part orientation is completed in person at Hope Headquarters and takes about five minutes. The orientation will explain setup, security, the one-week return rule, and borrower responsibilities.
Is it really free to borrow?
Yes. There is no fee to borrow an available hotspot and no credit check. However, you must sign a binding borrowing agreement and accept financial responsibility for the device, valued at $200. Free borrowing does not remove that responsibility.
Do I have to bring identification?
Yes. Complete the required five-part orientation in person at the lending location, bring identification, and sign the borrowing agreement. The training covers the hotspot, checkout, setup, security, the return rule, and device responsibility.
How long can I keep the hotspot?
The Hope Hubs loan period is one week. Return the device within seven days. The program states that there are no exceptions to this return rule.
What am I financially responsible for?
Borrowers must sign a binding agreement accepting full financial responsibility for the JEXtream RG2100 hotspot, valued at $200. Review the agreement carefully before you sign, including what happens if a device is lost, damaged, or not returned.
Will the connection always be fast?
No connection is fast everywhere. Coverage, signal strength, network congestion, and the number of connected devices can affect speeds. With the plan described for this type of hotspot, users above 100 GB in a billing cycle may receive lower priority when the network is busy.
Can I share the connection?
Yes, up to 20 compatible Wi-Fi devices can connect at once, including phones, computers, TVs, and more. The borrower remains responsible for the device and for following the lending agreement. Speed and coverage vary.
Where can I pick one up?
Start with Hope Headquarters at 140 Calaveras Ave, Modesto, CA 95354, or another participating Stanislaus County lending location. Hotspots are available first-come, first-served; contact staff to confirm current inventory and pickup details before traveling.
