No. You do not need an ID, insurance card, or any documents to start receiving support. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday 8AM to 4PM.

CalAIM is California's Medi-Cal transformation program that funds Community Supports like housing navigation, recuperative care, and medically tailored meals. Help Is Hope helps eligible Medi-Cal members access these funded services at no cost.

Yes. Reentry support is a core service. Help Is Hope assists people returning from incarceration with ID recovery, housing placement, benefits enrollment, job connections, and peer support — all free.
